Conduction of Reflect Centre

WOSCC initiated the formation Poor vulnerable and socially excluded (PVSE) groups during inception period of the project in order to form a community representative group so that it could act as a strong group to dig out the problems and issues raised in the community.

For the purpose, to enhance the learning and discussion of these issues, WOSCC established and have been conducting the reflect centers int the targeted VDCs. Reflect classes are being conducted in 89 centers in Harnamadi, Chhattiwan, Phaparbari, Raigaun and Dhiyal VDC where the women participation have reached 2103 in number (146 Dalit, 1736 Janajati and 221 others) till date.

The main objective towards the conduction of the reflect centre was to functionalize men and women of PVSE groups and empower them to raise the issues of the community and solve them with common consent and discussion following a Right Based Approach to Development. The issues are generally identified from social analysis. Reflect centre was also viewed as a way to sensitize the PVSE group members towards their issues and make thorough discussion and prepare action plan for seemly execution and implementation.
