Women Skill Creation Centre (WOSCC) is a non-profit making, non- governmental, non-religious and non-political organization (NGO) established in 1993 in Hetauda, Nepal. It is registered in District Administration Office, Inland Tax Office, and NGO Federation in Makawanpur and affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC) in 1996. It is established with few committed women activists who like to change women socio-economic, political, cultural position in the Nepalese society after the restoration of democracy in Nepal. 
WOSCC is committed to make the change in patriarchal attitude of society and women position through empowerment and advocacy for their decision making position, socio-economic, political and cultural change and ensured women rights by the policies and laws. WOSCC is working for women and children rights to make social justice and equitable society with empowering women, identification and sustainable management of potential natural resources, building capacity of women, survivors and marginalized community for their livelihood promotion. WOSCC programs and projects are contributing to improve the economic condition and socio-political position of target communities. Core area of WOSCC interventions are women empowerment against human slavery and trafficking, domestic violence, stopping child labor, governance and social inclusion, advocacy, forestry and climate change mitigation, alternative energy, agriculture and small scale entrepreneurship development. 

The national and international communities have been recognizing WOSCC as a pioneer organization in women empowerment for anti-human slavery and trafficking, stopping child labor and domestic violence against women and girls and promotion of livelihoods of survivors and marginalized communities through enterprises development, shaping national policy, and for developing and promoting of good governance practices in community development activities. With constructive feedback from the community people; partner organizations and donors, WOSCC is following participatory approaches in designing, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program/project interventions and follow up.

WOSCC is capitalized its experiences and partnership with different organizations formulate new program/projects and expanded for the benefits of its target audiences. Despite the fluid political situation and deteriorating security situation, WOSCC continuing its development programs/projects and has been achieving the goals and objectives since last 22 years with high dedication, motivation, passion and collective action of WOSCC Executives, staff and General members. WOSCC is able to show the positive impact on stopping human slavery and trafficking, domestic violence against women, child labor and women in decision-making local level governance institutions in the project areas and communities. It has establish a good coordination and linkages with local government, line agencies and community based organizations (CBOs), I/NGOs and stakeholders at community, district and national level. It is the pride that WOSCC has made tangible impacts from its programs/projects especially in the field of women empowerment, stopping human slavery and trafficking and natural resources management agro-biodiversity conservation; population, health and sanitation; promotion of alternative energy; and environment; and climate change. WOSCC believes to work with communities, for the communities with focusing women, children, skill transferred to community people followed partnership approach to sustain the project outcomes.
